Não é poesia que entusiasme. Não é poesia que queira entusiasmar. A composição paisagística parece sugerir sempre velocidade (carros e comboios aparecem com frequência) e jogos de luz que ofuscam mais do que iluminam. Há uma normalização dos acontecimentos apocalípticos; espera-se e, quando acontecer, não se vão ouvir trombetas.
